Beliefs
1. The foundation of Paul's Pupil is the Word of God.
2. Paul's Pupil is governed by the following principles:
a. All things visible and invisible have been created by the Triune God, they are sustained in and through Him, and they are for His honor and glory.
3. The following statement shall be the doctrinal statement of Paul's Pupil. We believe in:
a. The inerrancy of the Scriptures, their inspiration by God, and as being the final authority on faith and living;
b. The Trinity - the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who are the same in substance, power, glory, and deity.
c. The deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, His real though sinless humanity, His substitutionary and atoning death on the cross as the payment for sin, His resurrection on the third day in the same body, His ascension to heaven where He is seated at the right hand of the Father and is our mediator between man and God, and His personal return in His power and glory;
d. The person and deity of the Holy Spirit, His active role in regenerating and sanctifying of the believer through the Word of God;
e. The lost condition of man because of the fall and his salvation solely by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and his acceptance before God because of the righteousness that has been imputed to him;
f. The resurrection of the body, the judgment of the world by the Lord Jesus Christ, the everlasting blessedness of the saved and the everlasting conscious punishment of the lost;
g. The spiritual unity of all true believers in Jesus Christ and their duty to live a life that conforms to the teachings of God’s Holy Word, the Bible.
